Certification on this site is stated the way an order actually works: confirmed per order, per model and per market, never as a blanket claim across the whole range. Below is what we hold at plant level, how a CE or third-party route is handled when your market requires one, and exactly which documents can be issued with a shipment.
How compliance is confirmed
ISO 9001 is held at plant level. Where your market requires CE or a third-party test report, we supply samples for testing at the buyer’s cost, and bulk production follows the approved sample. Routine in-house testing covers salt spray, pull and service-life, and every batch is sampled for spectrometer analysis at an independent lab.
The marks shown on this site are the ISO 9001 and CE graphics only. Which certificate applies to the fittings you buy depends on the product and on the destination market, so tell us the port you ship to and we confirm what is required before you commit to an order.
Five kinds of certificate buyers ask for
The word certificate covers five different documents. Buyers often ask for one and mean another, so it is worth naming which one your market, or your own customer, actually wants.

If your market requires CE or a third-party report
EU CE is judged per product category, not once for the whole range. Where your category falls inside the rules, the route is the same as for any third-party test: we supply samples, you pay for the testing at the laboratory you nominate, and bulk production follows the sample that was approved. Brand owners in the EU usually ask about REACH nickel release as well, because handles and knobs are prolonged-skin-contact items. UKCA can be handled on request on the same basis.
Because the approved sample sets the standard for the batch, the material and finish you approve at sampling stage are the material and finish you receive in bulk. That is the same rule our four inspection stages work to.
What we can issue with your order
- An inspection report and a material certificate, issued to your own template on request.
- Spectrometer results for the batch, kept on file for every batch we ship.
- The packing list and the commercial invoice in our own name, with customs cleared by us.
- The bill of lading, issued through your forwarder or through ours.
- Documents in the language you need — tell us at the quotation stage.
There is no public download area for certificates. Documents are issued per order: send the model, the order reference and the template you need to info@3sglasshardware.com.
