Private label work is ordinary here: your brand, your packaging, your model or ours. Two decisions drive a custom order — which logo route you take, and how many pieces you are running. Both are priced on the quotation, so nothing has to be guessed.
OEM and ODM — what the difference is
OEM
Your drawing, or one of our existing models, made to your brand and specification. You bring the design intent and the packaging artwork; we confirm material, finish, glass thickness and dimensions with you before tooling or production starts.
ODM
One of our existing models, carrying your brand and your packaging. The body is already tooled, so there is no tooling charge on the product itself — what changes is the logo and the packaging.
Either route runs under the same rules on confidentiality and on quantity, and both are quoted as one order with one set of terms.
Two ways to put your logo on a fitting
Die-cast in the mould
The logo is cut into the tooling, so it appears in the cast part itself. It needs its own tooling, that tooling is not shared between customers, and it costs more than marking. The mark can be raised or recessed, and it does not wear off.
Laser marking
The logo is marked on the finished part after production, so no tooling is needed. It is the cheaper route and is available from a few thousand pieces. The mark is shallower than a cast one.
Quantity: standard against customised
| Order type | Minimum | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 100 pcs | Our model and our packaging, with no change to the logo |
| Customised | 1,000 pcs | Your logo by either route, and custom packaging |
There is no minimum order value on either route. Samples for a customised item are charged: where new tooling is involved, the tooling charge and the sample charge both apply, and the sample charge is refunded once the bulk order is confirmed.
Packaging customisation
On a customised order the packaging can be changed to your own: printed cartons, labels and inserts. Artwork, sizes and the printed information are confirmed with the quotation, because they follow the model, the material and the number of pieces per carton that you order. Every product also ships with an instruction manual covering installation, drilling and hole details and product dimensions; an English electronic version is supplied on request.
Confidentiality
Your drawings, models and tooling are used only for your order. Tooling is not shared between customers, so a die cut for your logo is not used on another buyer’s goods. Your brand, your artwork and your customer names are not shown anywhere on this site, and we work under a confidentiality agreement where your own customer expects one.
What we need to quote a custom job
Send the model number or a drawing or photograph, the quantity per model, the material and finish you want, the logo method and where the mark sits on the part, the packaging, and the destination port. A non-standard handle, a new product, or new tooling or packaging details all need the drawing first, so a full quotation follows once those are in hand. The ordering sequence itself is set out on how to order, and you can start with a quotation request.
Tooling and sample charges are refundable against a later order at volume. The threshold that applies is stated on the quotation for your model.
