This page sets out the commercial terms we work to: how an order is formed, how it is quoted and paid for, when the goods are made and shipped, how they are inspected, and what happens if a part fails. Your quotation and the order confirmation we send you carry the terms for your own order, and where this page and those documents disagree, your quotation and order confirmation govern.
How an order is formed
An order follows a fixed route:
- you send the specification — models, quantities, material, finish, glass thickness, logo method, packaging and destination port;
- we issue a formal quotation in USD on FOB China port terms;
- you confirm models, quantities and prices in writing;
- we issue a proforma invoice;
- you pay the 30% T/T deposit, and production starts on the day it arrives.
Nothing on this website, in a quotation or in correspondence is an offer capable of acceptance. No order exists between us until we confirm it in writing, and a quotation is priced on the information you gave us when it was issued.
Where a step needs a decision from you — a price to confirm, a drawing or artwork to approve, a document to check — the sequence pauses there, and the lead time counts from the point at which the deposit and the approved specification are both in place. How to order describes the same route from your side.
Quotation
Quotations are issued in USD on FOB China port terms. Sea freight, insurance and destination charges are at your account, and import formalities in your market are yours to handle.
A quotation is built from what you send: the model list, quantities, material, finish, glass thickness, logo method, packaging and destination port. Change any of those after the quotation and we price it again. Where a model is not in your list, send the drawing or a clear photograph and we quote it separately.
First reply to an enquiry is within 24 working hours, and standard items with complete information are quoted in full within one working day. A quotation is valid 15–30 days, as stated on the formal quotation. After that date the price is confirmed with you again before the order moves.
Minimum order quantity
Orders without customisation start at 100 pcs. With customisation — a die-cast logo, custom packaging or another made-to-order change — the minimum is 1,000 pcs. There is no minimum order value. Material and finish availability is confirmed per model at quotation.
Payment
- 30% T/T deposit against the proforma invoice;
- balance before shipment;
- goods released against full payment and the original bill of lading;
- other methods — L/C, Western Union and PayPal — accepted case by case and confirmed in writing before you pay.
Production is booked on the day the deposit reaches us, so a deposit that arrives later moves the whole schedule with it.
Lead time and delivery
Samples are ready in 5–7 days. Bulk production takes 25–30 days, counted from the day the deposit arrives. Customisation, new tooling, and the confirmation of drawings, artwork or packaging details affect when that count starts and how long it runs; on a customised order the count starts once those points are closed.
Loading is organised once the whole order is ready, not part-way through it. Sailing dates belong to the carrier, and so do space, route changes and port handling. Shipping and export covers loading, documents and consolidation; How to order covers the steps before that.
Where a confirmed date cannot be held, you have three choices:
- accept the new date;
- ship the part of the order that is ready;
- cancel the part that is not yet in production.
Compensation for a delay is limited to our own scope — expediting cost, a price concession or a remake — and does not extend to your downstream losses.
Acceptance and inspection
Goods are made to the models, material, finish and packing written in your quotation and order confirmation and, where a sample was approved, to that approved sample. Together these are the reference for acceptance, and no page on this website overrides them.
Production is inspected at four points — incoming material, in production, a retained sample of the bulk and a check before shipment — summarised here and described in full on Quality control.
Raise any objection to the goods as soon as you receive them, and before installation or any further processing. Once a fitting is installed, cut or refinished, its condition at delivery can no longer be established and a claim is much harder to settle. Send photographs or a short video of the part and its packing, the model or item code, the order number or invoice reference and the quantity affected.
What we ask for with a claim, and how a claim is judged, is set out on After-sales and warranty.
Claims and warranty
Our first reply to an after-sales message is within 48 hours. The default remedy is replacement, shipped with your next order or in another container of yours, so a single part does not need a shipment of its own.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects in the goods we supplied:
| Material | Warranty period |
|---|---|
| Zinc alloy | 6 months |
| Stainless steel | 2 years |
| Brass | 2 years |
It does not cover a failure that comes from outside the part: installation that departs from the drawing or the fitting instructions, use above the door weight a model is rated for, a coastal or salt-spray environment, corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents, and holes drilled away from the drawing we quoted to. These exclusions, and the checks made before a cause is assigned, are explained on After-sales and warranty.
The exact scope, period and remedy are per the formal terms on your quotation and order confirmation.
Tooling, drawings and intellectual property
Drawings, models, BOQ files, packaging artwork and specifications you send us remain yours. We use them only to quote your order and to produce it, and we do not show them to another buyer.
Tooling made for your logo or your own design is not shared with other buyers and is not used to supply anyone else. How a tooling charge is set, and how it is treated on a later order, is stated on your quotation and confirmed on the order confirmation; this page adds no policy of its own.
The KINGHOME name and our model numbers are ours. Please do not use them in a way that suggests a partnership, certification or approval we have not agreed in writing. OEM and ODM covers how a customised programme runs.
Force majeure
A delay or a failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control is not a breach of these terms. That covers natural disasters, government action or restriction, strikes, disruption at a port or on a route, epidemic, and similar events that stop us or our suppliers and carriers from performing.
The affected party tells the other as soon as it can, and the two sides agree what to do: a new delivery date, shipment of the part that is ready, or cancellation of the part not yet in production. Neither side is compensated for the delay itself.
Boundaries of our responsibility
Our liability for goods we supply is limited to the value of the goods affected, together with the warranty and claims process agreed for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of business, or delay and loss in your downstream works.
Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here removes a right written into your order documents. The website-level limits sit in Terms of service; the two pages are written to be read together.
Documents and compliance
Commercial documents travel with the goods — invoice, packing list, bill of lading and the export documents agreed for your order. Which of them are issued is confirmed on the order confirmation, because the set depends on your market and on what your own customs broker needs.
Certification and test documentation applies model by model, not to the range as a whole, so it is confirmed with you for the models you order rather than promised on a page. What we hold, and how to ask for it, is described on Compliance and documents.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. A dispute about them, or about an order, is subject to the courts with jurisdiction at our place of business in Foshan, Guangdong, China.
We may update this page, and the version published here is the one that applies. Last updated 20 September 2026.
